(a) Adaptive radiation gave rise to a variety of marsupials e.g., Tasmanian wolf in Australia. It is the process of evolution of different species in a given geographical area starting from a point and literally radiating to other areas of geography.
 
(b) Convergent evolution or Adaptive convergence.
 
(c)The difference between wolf and Tasmanian wolf is that wolf is a placental mammal whereas Tasmanian wolf is a marsupial mammal. The placental wolf and Tasmanian wolf are found in Asia and Australia respectively. Both share similar characters and similar habitat and had a common ancestry. Hence, they are an example of convergent evolution
