(a) Adaptive radiation gave rise to a variety of marsupials e.g., Tasmanian wolf in Australia. It is the process of evolution of different species in a given geographical area starting from a point and literally radiating to other areas of geography.

(c)The difference between wolf and Tasmanian wolf is that wolf is a placental mammal whereas Tasmanian wolf is a marsupial mammal.
