To decrease the load time of a web application you have to follow the following tips
 
1) Optimize images to no longer than screen resolution and save it as a compressed file
2) Eliminate all JavaScript files to reduce the amount of transferable data
3) Combine & Mininify all CSS and JS and call them in footer
4) Defer or Asynch JS Files
